Pre-Purchase and Full Condition Surveys
are a pre-requisite to the outright purchase of a pre-owned ship vessel or boat.
They pinpoint previous repairs, construction faults, lack of maintenance among others.

Valuation Surveys are summary surveys (not to be
confused with a Full Condition Pre-Purchase Survey Report) required by Insurance
Companies prior to issuing cover and required by Financing and Mortgage Institutions.
Damage Surveys. After Hurricanes, Sinkings, Fires, Collisions,
Theft and Negligence, Damage Survey Reports can be instigated by the Insurers or Owners
to estimate the extent of the repairs necessary and their cost.
